Using Texifter's cloud computing software platform, government officials, academic and legal researchers, non-governmental organizations, and corporate employees find searching, sifting, sorting and analyzing large numbers of documents more manageable. Texifter, LLC is an independent software venture based in North Amherst, MA and our new office is located at the Springfield Business Incubator.
Texifter personnel design, build, host and support secure, FISMA-compliant, Web-based document classification systems. The company makes information retrieval and natural language tools more widely accessible and builds active learning systems to improve the validity and reliability of human and machine categorization of text. Texifter was written up in Business West magazine and July 1, 2010 was the start date for a $150,000 NSF-SBIR award. News: The US Fish & Wildlife Service and the US Department of Agriculture recently bought the first PCAT Enterprise licenses. Early-bird deep discounts are available to federal agencies through the end of August.
